prodrive vs non-prodrive

Guys,

Was wondering on the STI7 you could get a STI Type UK and an STI type Prodrive, I think the changes were different fog-lamp covers and different coloured dials? Not sure of any other changes. Now on the STI8 what is the difference?

cheers

Gary

From MY03 onwards, there is no difference. In fact, there's only one version, to which you can add a PPP if you wish...:D

The bugeye STI you are referring to had a diffrent spoiler as well.
When the blobeye(sti8 in your nomenclature) appeared there was just one model for the UK, but you could add a PPP which was pure performance enhancements, no cosmetics.

Gary,

It just so happens that I've got an STI Type UK Prodrive Style.

This was the first official STI to arrive in the UK - MY02.

Its got different dials(they're blue, not black), different front bumper, different boot spoiler and different side skirts. No difference in performance though.
It cost £1500 more than the STI Type UK.

Regards,

Shaun

Alright Gary :)

Why, are you thinking of getting one?

Cheers
