A bloke a work says he meets east european women via MSN but after seeing that I'm not so sure.

In my single days, I met quite women from Eastern Europe. Including Romanian, Bulgarian, Hungarian, Crotian, Russian and Polish. Generally speaking, they are polite, intelligent and attractive. Although some of the Romanian girls are a little hairy.

You just have to be careful like you would with any girl. Some are just after money, although I obviously didn't look affluent enough to attract those!

I travel frequently to both Kiev and Moscow on business. Without a word of a lie, the sheer quantity of absolutely gorgeous ladies of 18-40 years old is staggering. In summer in the main streets they are passing you in "waves".
I have studied Russian language for over a year now and it is pretty essential to be able to get around, but I swear (and I have lived a lot longer than a lot of you on here) that I have NEVER seen anywhere that can remotely compete with Kiev or Moscow for thousands of very smart and beautiful ladies.And I have lived in some great countries as well as travelling to most places in the world. There are obviously "scams" anywhere, but the vast majority of the ladies would love to have a relatively well off, caring western man over the locals. (Average salaries about $100-200 per month)
Kiev itself is a very pretty city in the centre.
In none of these places do you see the drunken hordes exiting the bars and clubs. It is very safe to walk around in.
