Time for another GTB thread..

Last few have generated some interest so let's kick off another..

Anyone heard if AJbaseBloke has had his GTB on the RR yet - believe there was a magazine article involved?

Finally tracked down a set of 17" snowproxes on TSW alloys - just in time for last weeks snow - very impressed with the snowproxes.

Anyone know if the GTB standard Bilsteins can be overhauled or have inserts replaced - think one of my rears is playing up. Is the GTB struts/springs the same as the Impreza?

Also on the lookout for a decent starter motor - mine sounds a bit iffy sometimes - again, is it the same as any of the impreza's (not same as STi3 as I looked at swapping them over) Anyone know of a BG5 in a breakers yard.

Thanks

Kevin

Bilstein UK in Leicester 01455 283407 should be able to rebuild your strut inserts.

Very few of the imps use billies (P1?) but the valving is sure to be different although the body is probably the same.

Well, let's say it goes fast enough to get 18th in a hill climb, with only Evos, Stis and one BG leggy with about 5k sterling more in tweaks above me. I made 2 huge mistakes in my runs :o , and no, I wasn't last :D

There were another 18 cars (IIRC) behind (one Leggy and the rest Evos and Rexes), including DNFs who used the "scenery brake" ;)
