PSP / photoshop experts

Guys,

I need a way of blanking out text written in pen on a scanned document. The bground is not white, as the source is written on a reddy/orange bground, the scanned document will be in black n white though.

Whats the best way to achieve this so that it doesnt look like its been doctored at all. Clone brush of some sorts? Prefer ideas in PSP rather than Photoshop please. PM me if you want.

If u were wondering why, its one of those, 'wish u hadnt sent that email' moments, which needs to be forwarded to someone else, who doesnt have email access  its a long story :)

TIA

Am I right in assuming that you will be "doctoring" the scanned version? (i.e. black and white?)...

There are several ways you could do it but the most straightforward is probably the clone brush - takes a steady hand mind if you want to do it properly :)

Alternatively post it up here and we'll have a go for you... :)

Yeh need to mod the black n white image. I'll try the clone brush, I hope the result will look unmolested ;) I cant post it up, its kinda incriminating lol

Can u pls post the other methods?
