Audio file creation
 

Wonder if you lot can help me, I've been asked to do a sort of 1 man radio show (not for radio but for the net). I don't know what programme will let me record speach from a mic, and let me mix in tracks and sound effects.

Basically I'm after something like movie maker but for audio file creation.

Any ideas.

There are literally hundreds, head on over to www.computermusic.co.uk and check out their forums, have a look on www.kvr-vst.com. I guess you need something that lets you mix 2 or more mp3s with an additional input for mic, mixvibes is the best of the bunch IMO but do a search for DJ MP3 and you'll find loads!

Its basically its Podcast I have been asked to do, its years since I did anything like this. Last time was at uni doing a stand in radio show, many, many years ago.
