Alien Quadrilogy - Finally bought it!!!!!!
 

I got it in HMVs sale for 34.99 ;) (normally 70pound)

The set includes:

Disc 1 - Alien : Directors Cut
Disc 2 - Alien extras
Disc 3 - Aliens : Special Edition 20+ mins longer
Disc 4 - Aliens extras
Disc 5 - Alien 3 : Special Edition 30+ mins longer
Disc 6 - Alien 3 extras
Disc 7 - Alien Resurrection : Special Edition contains footage not in theactrical release
Disc 8 - Alien resurrection extras
Disc 9 - Supplemental material

I meant to say when you were asking about Aliens the other week; I have Aliens SE and it 'contains' both versions on one disc. Using a bit of clever branching, you can play the long or the short version.

So far watched, Alien : DC and Aliens : SE, not really sure on the differances in Alien : DC but the extra bits in Aliens : SE definatley help explain her motherly attitude towards Newt. Other than that i couldnt really pick out any extra bits.

One thing i have noticed though is that on each film theres the option to play the theactrical version or the DC/SEs!!! :cool:

Now for Alien 3 : SE ;)

The Alien Director's cut is actually a shorter film than the original theatrical version

Do you know what the differances are?

Alien 3 : SE, for some reason they ommited the alien coming out of Ripley at the end. But for a film thats 30minutes longer i didnt notice.

Alien Resurrection : SE, first time ive actually sat down and watched it properly and its not really that good in my opinion. I could of sworn Ripley didnt survive though...
