Would anyone buy 2nd hand forged internals
 

I currently have a 2 litre engine sitting in a workshop with forged pistons and rods from it being built in 2001.
I now have the 2.5 engine in my car, so I can ask the worshop to take the rods and pistons out and clean them up.
Yes they may have some marks on them and they won't be perfect, but at the end of the day they are forged.
My car was only ever mapped to 1.3 bar as I only had the crappy gaskets and Steve Simpson was worried the gaskets would blow if I went higher, and obviously I think some people run 1.6 to 1.8 bar on forged stuff. so I think 1.3 wouldn't put much stress on them over the last 3 years.
I think I paid around £1500 for the set in 2001 so can anyone give me a rough idea what I could ask for them now??????? Or would people rather spend more on new sets??
