How many months worth of old household bills/bank statements do you keep ?

3-6 months of bills, altho most everyone is done online now.

Hate to say I've got 5 years of bank/credit card/utilities etc.
Must have a bonfire.
Alas

If they are related to a business in any way then keep them for 6 years. Pain in the arse :mad:

Its recommended by banks that you keep bank statememnts for 6 years!

I have every single bank statement i've ever received, all bar one or two lost during my murky student days. No idea why though!! :cuckoo:
