lighter fuse
 

Hello,

I've a problem, I'm looking for the fuse for the lighter and I don't find it out anywhere. where is it? how many amps? thanks

If you have a bugeye, I could look in my owners manual and check. Possible it could be the same fuse for earlier models.

Resurected this one as I also have a Bugeye and a lighter socket that has stopped working.

It'll be in the fuse box by your right knee. But it won't be called lighter fuse because the same fuse will do other, more important, stuff.

Check out what else isn't working. Ciggy lighter only works with the ignition on so it'll be other stuff the same, brake lights, radio, indicators, reversing lights, stuff like that. When you find what else isn't working see if there's a fuse called that and see if it's toast.

Many thanks, I didn't know there was a fusebox there! I looked in that flap but only found the redundant keypad!

Thanks to your post I pulled that out and there is another fusebox! The lighter fuse is on the same circuit as the electric mirrors, new fuse, 20p, sorted!
