Gun clubs/ranges in Las Vegas

I'm off to Las Vegas in a few weeks with some mates and we fancy shooting some stuff (only paper targets) with automatic weapons - has anyone done this there before?

There are a few places on the web which appear to be shops with ranges out the back, but are they going to let a bunch of limeys loose with a Glock?

TIA

The Las Vegas Gun shop is great. You can rent pretty much anything from a 9mm handgun to an M16 assault rifle and fire it down their ranges. Instruction too if you're a novice :) Great fun :D

You'll find their flyers in most hotels and in the racks by the side of the road.

Remember to take photo id/passport when you go btw as they keep these while you're using their weapons etc.

Its not on the strip, its outta the centre of town, bout a 20-25 buck taxi ride from the strip. Bout $40 for a handgun and small case of ammo upto a lot more for the rifles and machine pistols etc and ammo.

Here ya go, called the gun store not gun shop, sorry.

Those quoted prices on the site are much too cheap though, its more than that, hidden extra costs...

Brilliant! There's even a $5 coupon on their website!!!

Thanks for your help.

Hello

Unless it's changed (I didn't go to the one above), you have to pay $50-$75 for joining a "gun club" and then you have to pay for ammunition.

Steve.

I think most of the locals drive out into the desert and shoot at Jacobs Cactus plants.

Les :)
