flat spot

i have a flat spot in 99 uk turbo. it happens between 2-3k after 3 its runs grand. there is a full exhaust, panel filter and running 1 bar. i have changed air flow meter and lambda sensor made no difference. there is no engine light. any ideas would be great.

Your best bet would be to get a remap; tek 3, power fc etc. Even then though, you will still probably get a bit of lag at that rpm. Just one of the joys of having a turbo motor!

hi ,i wonder if you ever got to the bottom of this problem,i ask as my car MY00 std apart from full decat, has just started doing the same.My car was fine with just middle decat ,but a few days after fitting the decat downpipe it got a serious flatspot at 2-2500 revs, that was on a wet day ,it was then fine for a few days, then flatspot came back (another wet day)then fine for a few days and it came back today (dry as a bone ,just to confuse )
Can anyone help ?
