scoobyecu remap?

when i had my scoobyecu fitted my car only had a magnex decat centre pipe and backbox fitted.after a while i had the downpipe fitted.
does the scoobyecu take into account for this already or should it be reprogrammed to suit as it dont seem to be hitting full boost
think the ecu is mapped for 1.12 bar not sure though

The scooby ecu works better with a decat exhaust so it should help boost target is about 1.05 -1.1 bar.
you say it is not hitting full boost what is it boosting to and did it only reach this before the decat or has it suddenly dropped off .

Evenin' Mark, see you got the PC going again then! How's the car? Back together yet?

Steve - The ScoobyECU takes into account what ever the original ECU does ( it's only the values in there that have changed ) and so if you reduce exhaust gas back pressure ( as you probably have ) or improve cold air inlet, then the Scooby's MAF will read air flow, other sensors may read air temp etc. and so you get better performance.

BUT the ScoobyECU map is fixed ( allowing for the OEM ecu's ability to retard ignition etc. ) so going too far from it's design parameters will upset running.

Remember, the ScoobyECU is just mapped more aggresively to a certain state of tune at one point in time, all other adjustments come from the OEM ecu.

Hope that helps

Neil
