Apexi PFC & Andy F re-map

As many of you know I have been modifying my UK97 over the last year or so, and finally got round to booking Andy F in for an Apexi PFC and full remap.

So far i have (and am bound to forget some of the smaller things  ) :-

TD05 FE
Full decat
Custom cone filter with heat shield
Walbro fuel pump + SX fuel reg
Custom made parallel fuel rails
Ported headers, ported & polished throttle body
PFR7Q plugs
Hybrid FMIC
FMIC waterspray
Tweaked MAF inlet

And now a 3-port boost solenoid and PFC :D:D:D

Andy has now made the car safe (read det free!!!!) and more responsive both on and off boost.

On the high boost setting it holds 1.35 bar from 3000 to the redline and feels fantastic.

I would recommend this ECU to anyone.

Sod it, i'm going out for a drive.....

Cheers

Thats a very similar setup to mine, although my FMIC is an HKS one and am using a VOS chip instead of a Power FC, which is coming soon.

What BHP did you get from the setup?

I haven't been to a rolling road, but i can say that the car is a LOT more responsive, at the end of the day thats what its all about.

Attention to the smaller details on this car ie ............ heat shield, Custom made parallel fuel rails, Ported headers, ported & polished throttle body, Tweaked MAF inlet..................
really made a difference  another almost identical UK97 car to this which I recently mapped was flowing 10% less air at the same boost without the little mods but with the same turbo, intercooler and decat.

Nice work Iain :)

Cheers Andy :)

I will give you a shout once we have sorted Ken's car out (going to be early Decemberish) to let you know how it goes once his FMIC is repaired!!!
