I advertised one of my cars on there on Friday and I got a text message yesterday morning at 1:30 am and a call this morning...........at ten to 3! :mad: luckily I had my phone on silent but what are these idiots thinking? Obviously I shouldn't have put my number on the advert but you do when you advertise anything else :rolleyes:

How do you advertise your car then? On autotrader etc you have to put your phone number up :rolleyes: You just don't expect dicks ringing you up at ten to three in the morning.

Email, then give them your number once you know they're genuine???????????

He must have been calling from abroad to offer you some dodgy payment, just very keen or p*ssed (or both)

It was a withheld number so could have been from anywhere :rolleyes:

What's going on with your car hunt? It's a shame this one's an auto because it'd have made a good track car because it flies!

Well the 200 is going at the end of the month, then the astra after that. WHen I have a house and thats all sorted, I will get another car! I'm either going for a Carlton or an old shape MX5. Depends which is cheaper to run.

Running costs are very cheap and fuel isn't that bad either, I think you average 26mpg out of a 24 valve and you should see that easily on the road :) I'm thinking (only thinking at this stage) of selling my other one if you are after one.

I returned from an overseas trip, and dropped the phone on the unit by the door..

at 2am the next morning i heard the phone chirp vaugely but dozed off agian.

the fcuk me it statred to ring .... i fumbled around and answred it...


Fecking fecking bloody vodaphone.... "you have new voicemail"

aarghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

and the important voicemail.... was a call i had taken 8 hours previously.....
