Short Golf Break Spain/Portugal
I am very quiet at work at the moment and really fancy a fews days away golfing somewhere warm(ish).
Any recommendations, not bothered about playing different courses just a nice hotel and golf course, for 3/4 days TIA Chopper |
If you want to splash the cash....
Vale Do/De Lobo.... It got voted the best luxury resort in the world IIRC :) All around that area there are plenty of courses - none particulary cheap to be honest, but worth playing on IMO :) |
£3 golf holiday in Spain.

Peeing down in Lisbon for the last week, sunny today though.

Vale do Lobo is very nice, but if you're looking for the best then it has to be Quinta do Lago which is just next door :)
|
Whats the costs for Quinta do Lago?
Might go there next time :D |
Went here for a few days last year, lovely hotel, two nice courses :)
Marriott Vacation Club send out loads of offers to stay here for a few days for £100 or so, including a round of golf and hire car. You do have to get flights, but you can fly Easyjet to Palma for next to nothing. Just try ringing them and ask if they have the offer on at the moment! Only catch is that you have to take a look at their timeshares. |
You can't go wrong with Villamoura that's for sure. As stated below, Quinta Do Lago (south) is an exceptional course. The only one I would avoid at the beginning of any break there is Pinhal, that is one tight golf course.
The "apres golf" is also spot on there, all the bars around the harbour as well as the casino if it takes your fancy. Top place to go to. I am back there in January, 1 week half board, including flights, car hire and 4 rounds (2 @ Millenium & 2 at the dreaded Pinhal) for £525.00. |
