Its just not cricket, old chap.

Boyakasha 01 November 2004 01:31 PM

That exactly what I said to Gavin, if they want a feature and some good scoobs then get them to foot the bill. F&M ar taking the p1sh, it's just a shame that Gavin has to put up with it :(

Bargain

Let me get this straight, F&M get feature cars and you get advertising. The punters pay you £30 then have to buy the mag to see their cars in it....

RB5-Black 09 November 2004 04:57 AM

and the mag is Sheeeet :D

LOL cheap a$$ maxp copy

robinH20MRV 09 November 2004 08:01 AM

pass.........

i think i will pass........

i dont think my modified sti ra v8 would fit in amongst such a collection of "performance"?????? cars, let alone paying for it!

see you in sidc :)

1. Some people like myself have to pay £500+ per page in a magazine like this.
2. Some people like getting their car rolling roaded at a reduced rate
3. Some people like the extra feature of getting their car in a scottish magazine.

However, some people do not.....

Gavin

don't think I'll run but might pop down for a look.;

WUZ 10 November 2004 09:13 AM

Grant, you should put the car on M8, she feels like a quick one!

Due to the low gearing on the car, make sure it is RR'd in 4th!

Russell

ps - free bttt for a while longer

Nice to see there is no badge snobbery on scoobynet

There will be a good number of rather flash machines on show.
Several scoobs, evos and a skyline or 3.

Russs 13 November 2004 09:59 PM

I don't think this is the point at all. I think that supporting Wallace is a good thing but why do we have to bow to a magazine that has plenty of money and pay money to basically show our cars when they should be paying us. After all think what they make from selling the mag.

Well it is not snobbery it is the fact that why come with a powerful sti to only see what your car does against a fiesta or saxo???? It just doesn't make sense.

I have no particular need to support the magazine, but the fact remains that it was £30 for a power run today, for anyone who wanted to come along. AND 20 of them will have their cars featured in the mag for free!
