should gearshift have a lot of slop, left to right (nothing to do with gear selection, which is as crisp as usual) - in gear, you can move gear lever side to side some inch - I am sure previous ones I tried were tight in all planes.

Just buying from Dealer - does he need to fix it - what causes it? - worn shift bushes?
