Route planner: best way from Kingston to Bromley?

Is there an easy way to get from Kingston upon Thames to Bromley?

How long would this journey take on a Saturday? (Christmas shoppers already  )

you stay at home and Caroline drives ?

Justin would probably have a better idea, but I'd run through ewell , round the back of sutton, through wallington and the Sth of Croydon.

It isn't going to be pretty on a Saturday though ........

The A232 is a bitch anytime during the day

TBH it may be quicker avoiding Sutton and Croydon, using the A2022 all the way from Banstead - it joins the A232 just past West Wickham. The only hold up will be the Purley lights.

LOL at Dave!

I was just curious as I need to get over there during the weekend!!! :o

If it's that bad on a weekend, it must be a complete nightmare in rush hour! I feel sorry for the guys to have to do that!

I'll struggle with getting up after 8am, jump in the shower and then drive 4 miles to work arriving at 8.30am!! ;) :p
