Lol @ making straight drop links ;) We've all been there and made something that were convinced will fit only to find it doesn't :( Then it seems obvious why it doesn't fit.

Good effort though. How much lube will the rose joints require?

Still can't believe i did that. :D I learnt something that day, what the 'R' in 'R&D' stands for. ;) I just got a bit caught up with the original idea and never really thought to check the car pmsl.

Have I missed something? Are you breaking the car Carl? Buying a house or something :(

Well done for offering the bits here first = top chap :thumb:

I may be interested in some parts, just gotta look at the CC bill

Fecker, drop me a mail!

I'll have some of the bits off you. (FE TD05 and 3 Port)

Peanuts 29 May 2005 02:37 PM

Carl will the K&N do for my 99 MAF housing if I dont use the fitting kit?
if so then its mine
sorry its got to this btw :( you worked so hard to get the magic 3xx and were an inspiration.
not to mention it was an honest eye opener that 300 isnt simply bolted on with a chip and filter ;)

Aye well, facts are i will be moving into my house in July. I need money for things like washing machines, microwaves and will hopefully have enough for a lathe. I've had three visits from the police lately (nothing serious) but the car is growing a reputation. Adding it all up and i've gone as far as is realistic with this car. Selling the bits will go a long way to furnishing the house and i won't enjoy driving the car as much with 240bhp so it's highly likely i will sell it soon after (within next 3 weeks). At the end of the day it's a high mileage 7 year old Scoob. :(

The fun part wil be starting again - hence keeping wheels, AVC-R and all the other tasty bits. :)

Ian, TD05 has virtually gone mate. :( 3-port is available though. You know my PayPal addy. ;)

Andy, not sure tbh mate....?

Houghton 29 May 2005 07:33 PM

Carl,
Sorry to hear you've succombed to domesticity :( although maybe there's another project to look forward to in the not too distant future? :D

Carl Davey 29 May 2005 07:40 PM

Oh definitely, something 'proper' this time though... already have half the parts. :D

finalzero 27 November 2007 06:06 AM

You still going to supply scooby parts mate as I am looking to make some purchases in the new year ;)

Carl Davey 05 December 2007 03:12 PM

Nice to see my bumbling is still inspiring people. Went on a bit of a mission with my current STi 4 RA the last time i was home. It's now fitted with a 20G, Newage STi TMIC and a few other bits and pieces, lots of attention to detail and heat-management mods this time around!
