ecu what is it?
 

A friend of mine says he has a impreza ecu I can have but we don't know what it is for???

it has on the sticker U 8

anyone know what model/year/power etc this is?

you need to provide the whole number i.e AE801 (A18-000 DIE) this will give people a chance.

U8 is a MY94/95 WRX saloon. Power is approx 240 bhp.
(This is assiming my memory is OK...)

You can fit a ScoobyECU chip to it if you like too.

MY93(ish) 240ps and 11.47psi.
V.Early ECU the later Z4 (post Sept 1994, 260ps) is much improved, both in mapping and code.
