PDA Sat nav help please
 

I brought a PDA with tom tom & Navman jacket from a guy on ebay !
I cant get the damn thing to work ! I have even tried deleting all the software & reinstalling it, but still no joy
I think it may now be a problem with the jacket !

Does anyone know where I can get it checked out ?

Or does anyone have a Nav man jacket to fit a Ipaq 3760 that I can try or buy ?

YOU MEAN THE GUY i BROUGHT IT FROM ? He wont have anything to do with it !

I have a Entac jacket and not the navman one, but its in use on a daily basis so cannot send / sell you mine.

but if you want to send me yours ill try it on my system and then send it you back im quite happy to do that for you.

What software are you using and have you tried searching the forums on www.pocketpc.co.uk, it has separate sections for all types of gps recievers and are very helpful too, this may be your best bet first off.

I thought Navman and TT are individual Satnav systems - won't running them at the same time cause trouble?

What software has been supplied to run satnav?
The seller only mentions Tomtom maps - are these compatible with Navman software?

You need navman software to go with the navman jacket IMHO, I've got both and it works on my IPAQ just fine..

If you go to the navman website it may be worth downloading their GPS test software !

I have their software on there too ! But havent tried their test sortware so will try now ! thanks
