RAID ACROSS THE BORDER 3 ###

Thanks to Mark@wrx for helping me with the new <vision>

I have just done the new Raid today and it is awesome !!!

I have taken out the early stage of the Raid from last year and found even better roads !!!

Today in 108 miles I overtook only 2 cars [:0]and noone got any where near me [;)]

There is a new 'O' Level introduced and again the roads will be closed [:p]

As per Last Year there will be an East meets West at a preset time and location with Martin leading the North East Raiders .

A raiders Banquet is planned .and i do recommend sick bags for your passsengers for the new <special > stage (which will only be held if the weather is OK )

Sunday 14th November

Starting point Holliday Inn /PC world Car park

Off Junction 44 M6 Carlisle

1030am for 11 am Departure

DaveW 20 October 2004 09:33 AM

It would be nice to see my old car again, but I'm busy that weekend. Might try and pop up for the start just to say hello :)

Oh and Chris I think my new car is louder with the BPM downpipe :p Especially with my new 'anti-lag' feature :D

Dave.

cw42 20 October 2004 11:24 AM

DaveW, nice to see you again :) have you still got the 22b, I'd heard you'd crashed it :(
Hope thats not the case. Be good to see you again, but if I had my way I may be changing it for something else before the raid, all depends on whether I can get a new job I'm looking at :)
See you either way on the raid if you can make it,
chris.

DaveW 20 October 2004 01:07 PM

Chris,

22b is fine, lets just say I didn't see a sign post so a little repair is needed to the rear bumper. Nothing serious though. Engines now run in and just had it mapped, awesome is the word :)

Good luck on the new job, heard you were after changing it, new STI perhaps?? If so make sure its the MY05 one, Palmers have a demo one in so you can have a look when your up.

Dave.

CRAFT 20 October 2004 08:02 PM

Erm, excuse me........."That nutter"? whats that supposed to mean, just because I drive at a reasonable pace:D
Anyway, should be able to make this if thats ok with you lot;)

CRAFT

cw42 20 October 2004 11:11 PM

DaveW, the new job doesn't pay that much!
more like an 02 sti, x or y reg at the mo'.
aren't 22b rear bumpers about 10 grand :)
Hope you can make the raid m8, would love to have a little go in yours,
chris.

FASTER MIKE!! 23 October 2004 01:14 PM
