Hi Guys,
It's the big one. I've seen a couple of posts referring to the high price of the 90K mile service. Can anyone be specific? How much can I expect to pay? Looking at SIDC FAQ it looks like it is the same as the 30K and 60K service + the camshaft belts. I'm bracing myself. Any top tips or recommendations welcome. I'm in Edinburgh. All help gratefully received! MattT |
If it's a UK car then the 90K service does include the cambelt. No clue on cost BUT how about ringing a dealer!? Try several if you can as the cost will vary quite a bit (at least it does down here). Dave |
90k - same service as 45k.
The service is small, the cam belt is the killer. £400???ish NeilR |
Hi Guys,
I've booked it in. For future reference: 350 pounds is the ticket for the 45K mile equivalent. One garage told me that the 90K mile is effectively the 30K / 60K and 45K together - result = 500 pounds. Mmmmm... Thanks for the help. MattT |
You could buy a 2nd-hand Impreza for that! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
Still recovering from the 15k service... |
Hi,
Had my 90k service a few months back. Best part of £500. Came out feeling a little faint... |
You want to try a 30K service + new pads (Mintex 1155)+ hoses
£650... £330 for my 45K service (cam belt) |
Had the big 90K a year ago or so. Not including new rear pads and a couple of small extras, cost ~£510. Ouch. I had to wonder if it's worth using Subaru dealer for it (I did, however), given that it will be quite a lot cheaper elsewhere, if you have someone local who knows what they're doing.
