Hmmm you could try 01225-703101 which is their facility in Melksham, WILTS according to their web site although it seemed a bit vague...

Mike, if you need techy info or sales speak to

robski 27 July 2000 01:58 PM

John,

sorry mate, hes not allowed to sell them on.
Next time I speak to him, I am going to broach the subject of supplying us direct, maybe via another company, if they have exclusive agreements. Will advise when I have spoken to him.

Robski,
Ask him if he will make me some 17" slicks http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif.

They have to be 215mm wide and have a circumference of 1920mm +/- 20mm. Also they have to be capable of 150+mph speeds.

NO-ONE does them and this could be their niche for Cossie / Scooby track people...

I await your full report.
LOL

I was quoted £50 less for a set of Avon tyres than Pirelli and being a woman could do with some advice.
Are they any good or for £50 more would I be better off with Pirelli?

johnfelstead 27 July 2000 04:45 PM

Thanks mike, I had forgotten to check my tyre speed rating.

I just rang BMTR and asked them what mine are rated at and they are a V rated (150MPH)

He nearly fell off his seat when I said “is that all” LOL

I think I am gonna be a nervous chappy down hanger as I am sure I will be doing more than 150MPH http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/eek.gif
