fitting a newer intercooler

i have seen a 2001 wrx top mount for sale and was wondering how much modifying i would have to do to fit it to a 97 uk

erm i was guessing at 4 sorry, so the 2 brackets need modding in what way do they have to be widend because i have a blitz s/s dv and an uprated fuel reg very close to the intercooler now i no the d/v aint a problem as thats a straight replacement

jonnygav has posted a picture of my intercooler on the drivetrain section now, its in onbe of the sti 8 intercooler threads :) have a look there and see if your clearance will be ok, i needed the left hand bracket and had to then hammer and bend both brackets after that
