anyone chipped a 320D

Just checked with AMD and they do a chip which gives approx 30 ponies and a fair up of torque for £519 ex VAT. anyone done anything similar? was it worth the money and how much did the economy suffer?

not sure if its a good idea with the onset of winter either, can already light up the rears in the wet quite easily (which i'm quite surprised at)

Havent done it but have been looking into it as I'm looking at a 320d for my next car.

There is a good article on the superchips web site on their system. Gives it 181 bhp, 295 lb/ft torque and 330d performance (remember 320d is lighter).

Sounds good to me :)

Id be interested in this also if anyone gets it done, ive got 320d sport, great car, love it.

I had my A3tdi quattro130 chipped by superchips, on rolling road it did 250ftlb of torque and 185bhp!!! sadly though the clutch started slipping up hills in warm weather and it wasnt old, about 6 months, put it down to quattro having to much grip?? or just to much power for the clutch?? has put me off chipping the BMW to be honest.
