I know there is one in Gorleston, Great Yarmouth.

He doesn't go on the net much, if at all (last time I spoke to him)

Are they still worth a lot? When I first looked at Scoobs (a long time ago) a standard one couldn't be had second-hand for less than £15k, but a McRae was more like £19k.

Tidgy 14 October 2004 09:49 PM

got mine for 7.5k, having a few bits and bobs fitted though

I brought no 189 new in August 1996, i kept it for 4 years and then sold it to a couple living in Wolverhampton.
Does anybody know if this car is still about?

hoskib 14 October 2004 11:32 PM

price wise, seems to get about 20% more than same age/mileage in std guise.

lovely car with some of the best seats around IMHO, just a bitch to keep that colour car looking clean!

hope you enjoy it tidgy:)

Which doesn't seem to be true for the other special editions (Terzo, Catalunya, non-WR RB5).

I reckon in 5 years time all the special edition classic scoobs will be worth a few bob!

Was McRae the first special edition scoob?

navtheace 15 October 2004 10:18 AM

Just checked the ebay link above for no 127, and it did not sell as the auction ended last night

Power Junkie 15 October 2004 10:32 AM

There is one up here in Aberdeen.
