Help! Harrassing Phone Calls
 

Does anyone know where I stand with harrassing phone calls?

What I really want to know is, if I reported it to the police, would they just laugh in my face?!

The story cut short, basically is that my father's ex girlfriend is a headcase, she's always been unstable, and has now taken to calling my home number (at this time in the evening, when I am supposed to be in bed) and just hanging on the line, even if I hang up (she still keeps the line open) so that I can't make or receive phone calls. My father moved out a few weeks ago so I'm left to deal with it on my own, and as far as I know, she never used to do it before he left.

Advice on this matter most welcome!
