What an amazing day until the pistons on my brakes let me down a little and then the bolt going into the cambelt cover and all but destroying my timing sensor.........doh!

Has anyone got any pictures yet??

I'll take my digicam nextime, I promise!!

SJD

PS Thanks Jo for organising the day, were you the lady with the green brake fluid?

Matt Oz 25 July 2000 12:58 AM

Scott,

Hope that you got home OK! I think that it sounded worse than it actually was. Would anyone else agree with me that Mr.Plato can't half drive that 911 of his!!

Matt

Scott J Davies 25 July 2000 01:01 PM

Didn't see that, bugger. Curse the M25.

Ian Sutton 25 July 2000 01:30 PM

SJD get on with your work its only I the the happy house husband that can be on here all day.

I too would like to see any footage of the day.Certainly the cool grey STI Wagon going backwards in to the centre grass as I witnessed in my rear mirror would make good
viewing.

Scott good luck at the garage remember i'm in for Brands if you can wangle it..see ya kids need Scalectric set up bye!

....Ian

Scott J Davies 25 July 2000 01:39 PM

I'm the person with the brake fluid and I'm not Jo. Luckily it wasn't brake fluid but coolant spilling out of the overflow.

Rich.

Jo Peters 26 July 2000 12:57 AM

Hi Scott

As Alisonj says, I wasn't the one with the green fluid spilling out. I was the passenger (my WRX stayed at home for the day http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif ) in the white STI iv (Tommy Kaira bodykit) and shredded front slick http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

Jake,

I believe it is common practise to blank out peoples reg plates, so could you please do that, especially as mine is rather prominent!

Greg
