I have just read a very small article in today's Daily Mail which said that it seemed unlikely that Jack Straws driver would be prosecuted for doing 103mph on the M5.

So much for zero tolerance, it seems that speeding is ok dependent upon who you happen to have in the back of your car. This led me to think that if I had Blubs and Geezer in the back of my car I could get away with speeding by saying I had Laurel and Hardy in the back. (Geezer you may have to wear a wig for this to work) http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

This leads me to another general question.....who would you most like to have in the back of your car and why? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

after all its Wednesday and its not worth starting anything before the end of the week is it?

Gosh....I love working in IT

I would have the guy responsible for signing off the new impreza in the back of my car.....& ask him what the bloody hell he was thinking of.... http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

I can think of lots of people I'd "like to have in the back of a car" (nudge nudge wink wink), or anywhere else for that matter!!

Jack Straw is not among them

How about Schumey, who'd probably be saying, "it's okay you can go a little faster if you like" when your foot's taped to the floor!

I would have John Prescott in the back of my chosen car.

I would be behind it, pushing it over the longest sheer drop I could find.

I had that Jimmy Tarbuck in the back of my car once, y'know, the comedian bloke. Diamond geezer he was, total diamond.

But them mobile phones, eh? What's that all abaaaaaaaght. And the government - waiting lists, do me a favour. I'd give 'im a leak I tell ya.

Once, right, I was waiting outside the Grand, to pick up...

etc.
