Dashboard colour-coding in a classic?

Just been searching through TSL's site, and found a picture of the interior of a MY94(ish) impreza, where parts of the dash including the trim that surrounds the air vents and down the sides of the central console had been painted white...has anyone managed to paint the interior of their car as if its not too hard to do I fancy a go!
If not are there any trim kits available?
Cheers!
James

You can get stick on trims which I have in my MY97-was in when I bought it and just never taken it off.

Nitosport (think thats the guys) do carbon fibre trim but this is really expensive for what it is IIRC.

Contemplated the spray job but its such a big task. If I could have found a cheap second hand interior I'd have done it and then I could have taken my time but seen as though the car will go soon no point now.

Cheers pal, Adam at Scoobyclinic actually showed me how to take the trim parts out (many thanks!) so I had a crack at spraying the individual trim parts myself in white (to match the car) and its actually come out pretty well if I do say so myself! Masking up the air vents was the trickiest bit mind, its by no means professional standard but it'll do me! Might have a go at posting some pics when i actually take some decent ones!

Glad it went ok mate. I gave it a go myself and the results were great but I think I used the wrong paint as it bubbled up after a month so have got to do it again. The up side to it though is that I was able to remove the vents from the shell.
Look forward to seeing the pics.
