Manual Windows updates download?
 

Hi,

Searched the Microsoft web site but can't find out how ..... I want to dowload windows ME updates as by bruv has a very unpatched computer and he has a modem connection only. The trouble is the only way I can find to download updates is automagically where it interrogates your system. I just want to use my broadband link to download the lot.

Can it be done???

Yes its possible, select the updates as normal, then expand each item n click on more info for each, this will take u to another page where u can saveas the individual updates. Word of warning though, make sure u reboot in the correct places when doing this manually. Best bet is to reboot after every update (even if not asked for) just in case.

Do this on ya mates box, and email the urls to yourself for downloading ;)
