Wendy James returns..

She was in a mates shop buying some trainers in Soho a few weeks ago. Didn't realise who she was until she'd left and my mate told me. Not ugly buy absolutely nothing special. Bit of a heroin problem apparently.

I rescued some old VHS of her on TOTP performing "Baby, I don't care". It's blinding. She was gorgeous beyond belief at that time. I've got it in .mpg form if anyone wants a copy.

Does anyone remember the mongol joke ? Mongol Billy, Mongol Johnny and mongol Brian are all in primary school class. The teacher is going to draw three things on the blackboard and they have to ghess what they are. First she draws two sails and a hull. Mongol billy is quick to put up his hand "Its a boat miss" (in mongol voice) Next she draws 4 windows a dooor and a chimney. Mongol Johnny puts his hand up "Its a house miss" "Well done mongol Johnny" says the teacher. Next she draws a saddle, then a big wheel at the front and asmall wheel at the back. **** - can't remember what you call it - Anyone ? |

Interesting you write that. My mate who runs the shop knows her quite well. I asked him what she was like (as a person). He replied she very intelligent, quite focussed on what she wanted but the drugs had dragged her down and she'd taken a lot of time to get over them. He didn't give me the impression she was 'messed up'.
I hope that she got over most of it, but I haven't seen her for nearly 20 years. She had a huge problem with being adopted, hated her adopted parents, and that seemed to guide her life of resentment. Steve. |
