Tools needed for ICE install?
 

Ok, this might be a weird question, but what type of router / saw would I need to create a nice looking ICE install?

What I'm mainly after is (I think) a router that will let me do nice speaker "mounting plates" (I'm assuming this is what they are called) and speaker distance spacers for my front doors (WRX03).

I also want to be able to cut a big round hole in MDF to fit a bass speaker.. I've always done this with jig saws before, but then obviously the speaker will 'sit on top' of the material. I want to achieve a flush mount so that the speaker doesn't come out from the box, so to speak. A router is the right tool for this, right?

You can use a router to cut a round circle into wood, right?

I will be using MDF for the speaker plates (probably the wrong word) etc, and I love my power tools, so please help me out here :)

Yep a routers what you need it'll do a lovely job in MDF, for the holes you can attach the router to a piece of spare MDF say 8"x24" attach it one end with a hole cut in it for the baseplate, then decide how big the hole is you need and drill a small hole in the MDF that distance from the cutting bit, all you do then is pop a screw through the hole you've drilled and screw it to your centre point and around you go but dont try and cut it in on go use shallow cuts, for say 12mm I'd do about four passes to cut through, you'll get a better finish that way....
