just been reading a p1 brochure noticed it has speed sensitive steering.
has my (my99 type r v ltd got it to)?

The P1 rack is exactly the same as the standard UK impreza Turbo

My MY99 handbook states that my car is equipped with speed-sensitive steering. :)

All power steering is speed sensitive isn't it? Otherwise you would be switching lanes on the motorway in double quick time.

Yup apart from the Rover SD1 I owned a few years ago, I ended up see-sawing across a dual carriageway :mad:

p.s. only reason people bought P1 instead of Type R was it was an official UK car.. don't forget the P1 was a de-tuned type R ;) :D:D

Its just so Type R and P1 owners can have an argument.

It wouldn't be the same having a good car without worrying if someone has one thats better.
