Window Tinting .. Who and Where ??
 

Hi , i am looking to tint my windows and was wondering if any of you nice people would know where i can get it done ??

There is a place in Oldmeldrum near Inverurie, I think its called Scotglass.

I picked up a brochure for Moray Windscreens Ltd, Elgin 01343 546184 who do it. havent used them myself but would like to know what they are like if you use them.

thanks lads , i am in Elgin so will go over and see them tomorrow .. just found where it is , i was over these at start of the year when the lad was doing his first car .... he was having an absolute nightmare ...lol ( i thought his first was goiing to be the last the state he was getting in ) , hope he is getting on better now .. soon see.

Yes it is illegal to have your front sides done. I removed all my tints about 6 months ago, but now I'm thinking about getting it done again. Insurance company said no to any type of tint so might look to change to another company that is a bit more lenient and just not do the fronts.

My uncle is the tinter for Scotglass in Oldmeldrum, did my old Astra to a high standard and will be doing my new car aswell.

Give them a phone, they will be very competitive, ask to speak to a Jimmy Thomson for all the gen.

i didn't think it was illegal to get the fronts done. tint tech in dudee are gona do mine when i get back home, as long as theyre less than 35% or lower on the front then its on is it not?

Rory the problem is that the windows already have a tint on them which is about 27%, so any form of tint unless it is clear will push it over he limit :(
