Begun fifteen years ago, "The idea of an off-road car endurance event came from a small group of Safari enthusiasts whose notion of a family outing was to drive across country, exploring wild and remote areas". Give them a car, a map and a large expanse of unspoilt Africa - and let them loose. It's a crazy challenge, only for those who are brave enough to face the African wilderness at its most rugged - and who like to have a huge amount of fun. Cliffs, swamps, dense thorn, and large territorial mammals are the obstacles - and many entrants fall by the wayside. Those who make it through are rarely unscathed, yet all keep coming back for more - year after year - in the name of Rhino Ark.



In the UK;



The UK Rhino Charge is similar in essence, whereby ‘friends’ of the Kenyan event hold the same, each year in the UK. All proceeds collected by fund raising, going to the same cause.



Have you ever wanted to go on safari? What would happen if you paid for this "holiday of a lifetime" and there were no animals to see? - I guess that you would be disappointed! How would you feel knowing that the black rhino could be extinct in another 5 - 10 years if poaching were allowed to go on? - not a thrilling thought is it? Rhino Ark is working hand in hand with the Kenyan government on the project to fence the Aberdare National Park. This fence is excellent news for all members of the surrounding communities, whether human or animal as not only does it keep poachers out of the park, but stops the parks animals foraging outside for food and destroying the community’s crops.



For a full corporate sponsorship of our team your company shall benefit from prime exposure to a very exclusive and lucrative segment of International diasporas. The Rhino Charge is widely covered by all major local dailies and radio stations as well as international media houses such as Reuters, Trans World International etc.



By becoming our team’s corporate sponsor your company and brand(s) shall get direct exposure via:

1. Full Branding of the competition Range Rover in your company/brand colours and logo.

2. Free distribution of your company flyers and display of your company banners at the Rhino Charge Control at Pippingford Park, Sussex.

3. Free display of your company banners at the Team Metal (UK) Spectator area on location of the Rhino Charge. The Rhino Charge venue has an abundance of people in attendance every year in the form of spectators, participants and organisers.

4. Furthermore, sponsors will be welcome to join Team Metal (Kenya)’s campsite for the duration of the event next year in Kenya, for a nominal fee. Further information available on request
