05 Spec C/WR
 

Does anyone know if the Spec C or the WR version has the same body kit as the standard JDM?

Best take a look at www.subaru.co.jp - the STI isn't hard to find.

The Spec C has a smaller rear wing and doesn't have the little aero wedges that stick out from the sides of the front bumper, but I think they're the same apart from that.

Thanks Andy, reason I ask is that I noticed in some of the pictures on the Litchfiled site that the Spec C seemed to have smaller sideskirts as well as the parts you have mentioned.

No idea, sorry - I never looked that closely. I'd believe the pics if I were you.

the spec c does have less chunky sideskirts and front bumper - don't look as good as the standard STI, IMHO.

Thanks WR-one, that's what I thought, my other half's brother is looking to get a JDM and I thought the WR version of the Spec C would be good as it has all the electric gizmos that the Spec C doesn't, but if it looks like that I think I'll tell him to just go for the JDM.

The Spec C WR Ltd has no side sill extentions, front bumper is missing the corner extentions and has a WRX spoiler, all of which are being changed to STi parts on mine with the T25 engine conversion, which gives me a Type 25 with all the spec C extras and electric pack.

I like the front bumper without the corner extensions. What colour are yours, maybe we could swap?

Sorry but I think Black would look a strange on WR Blue....nice thought though...any news today...I had to buy 3 new tyres on our "loan" K reg nova..not very happy!!!!!

Would look odd - though not as odd as WR blue on a black car :)

Worth looking into a respray though, perhaps, if that'd be cheaper than buying new ones?
