Begging a lift next week
 

I am putting my car into Dale's next week for a respray and to put the std exhaust back on. I am in need of a lift from the bodyshop at Sadleworth in Oldham back to Poynton or suitable station so I can get to Stockport and back out. This is next weds morning early and also a return (unless I find the trains are suitably easy) on the Friday.

A big favour to ask but I know you kind and warm harted SMACS will help a fellow scoober in his hour of need.

A suitable beerish payment will be made in all cases.

I did offer but I'm on ealiers that week, I'm not back to 2pm. I've got mine in wednesday, getting my suspension done at the same time too:D

consider it done super. I'm on lates next week, come over to ours, and I'll ferry you over and back home again.
We can come back the long way over saddleworth, much more fun :)

Need a lift back from Diggle on the Weds morning (i.e sometime after 9am) and then a lift upto Diggle on the Friday (i.e. getting there for around 5pm).

Willy, what are the trains like and do you know the closest station to the workshop? Or I could get a taxi to Oldham or something?

Train station is Greenfield, 5mins away by car.
Erm I can oblige that trip, but I`m busy doing an install during the rest of the day.

Willy, sorry I missed this. Does this mean no-go on the lift? I have checked out the trains and Greenfield does not appear to go via Stockport. Anyone know if this is correct? It had me going to Liverpool Lime St!!!!!!

Otherwise I am well and truly stuck!

Gave it another try and found train goes into Victoria, so this could be a goer. Give us a ring willy later to arrange times.
