Test drives and insurance
Hi chaps
When you sell a car and the buyer requests a test drive what do you do in terms of insurance. Its all very well them being able to drive another persons car on their policy but as far as I'm aware they would be driving it with only the bare minimum third party cover. In the event of a prang you would be up a certain stretch of water way without a rowing implement!! Whats the normal thing to do? Cheers Brett |

Would never risk it, if they are serious about buying, and not just round for a quick rant, then paying a few extra quid to their insurers to be fully comp on yours shouldn't be a problem.
When I have ever sold I insist on fully comp, or passenger rides only..... |
thanks guys.
