is VIBE an alright brand?

Specifically looking to buy some VIBE SR60 2-way co-axials.

I can get them for 30 quid, but would I be better off going for a budget Alpine or budget Kenwood etc instead?

Infinity are out of the price range at the moment

The Vibe speakers can be found here:

Also, is it safe'ish to buy used speakers?

Cool, I might go for the co-axials and try them out then :)

Thanks for the input

Not heard anything bad about them mate and they are designed with bass in mind even with their standard speakers from what i am told too

£30 is good but dont expect BOSE sounds of them obviously

i have alpine in my 98 classic and they are good not sure if they where worth the 70 quid though

Oh great, I will sound like a Max Power Muppet down the high street then :-)

30 is indeed good (I assume, without having heard them), apparently they retail for 49.99 at car audio direct, but they're only 30 on E-bay...

Might have to go to halfords today and listen to the different speakers they do... I've so far ruled out JBL because I don't like the sound, but unfortunately the price range of up to 40-50 doesn't give me that many options :-)

Errrm no - their subs are boomy over power rated Cak.

You want something like Resonant Engineering for decent subs...
