Another silly question!!!
 

How do I remove the 2 vent type things from below the indicators on the bumper of a MY99 classic in order to have them colour coded???

Sorry for yet another stupid question from a newbie

as simple as puting a thin screwdriver at the top of the vent and pulling down, it will then pop out, dont worry too much about scratching paint, as you cant see any damage unless you lie on ground!(if you are carefull you probably wont scratch it anyway.
as an aside, the orange coating is just paint, and comes off really easily with nitomors and a brush, just keep working at it and rinse evey so often, imho it looks better black!

I found it easier to remove the indicator above it (only one screw),reach in behind and upclip them. There's 4 lugs at the corners that you just need to squeeze a bit.

Thanks, I thought it would be simple, but didnt want to risk damage to the parts concerned.

When you pop in the screwdriver, put a bit of rag over the end and then you will not scratch the bumper in any way... Black looks good.
