What's your email size limit at work ?
Just out of interest .. ours is 12mb at the moment, just wondering if this was the norm these days ?? (internet email not internal)
|
5mb no reason, just is.
|
depends on your group (admins like myself no limit) other peeps 15 MB.
Having said that we once had a guy try and email a 650MB CD and he wondered why his machine froze on him :cuckoo: |
Split large files using winrar and use a GMAIL account (1 gig). When you receive them just extract back to original directory structure
|
Most here are 2Mb limit. No exe's, images etc.
|
4mb here, however there are some execeptions ;)

Cheers :D
Getting dual 45mbit lines in at work so will up our limit a bit ;) |
You mean Exchange STORAGE limit, or email sending limit? I'm often involved with setting limits on mailboxes for my customers. The reason is always due to having a finite amount of storage available, so they just set a limit, rather than have to buy a new hdd. If it's sending limit, it doesn't really matter too much. Exchange can be set to hold mail over a certain size & send at specific times of day (like at night). However any sent mail is going to have to be below the storage limit size.

Nawp, sending size limit.. we're ok on storage (20TB SAN) :D
