How much oil do I need to buy for an oil change?

How much?

What's the cheapest place to get Castrol RS from?

Thanks!

You need a little bit for a moped, and a lot for a tank.

4.5? Interesting that they sell it in 4 and 1 litre bottles... I guess I'll have to buy one of each to make sure there's enough.

How are we supposed to know what car you drive ?

And it matters if your changing the filter, are you ?

I take it that its the engine oil your changing ?

Or maybe the gearbox.....

More info please.....:)

OK, fair points :)

MY00
Engine oil change half way between services
Going to a specialist and want to provide my own oil (because they use Silkolene and I want to use Castrol RS)

Hope my question makes sense now ;)

PMSL :D

I bought 5L of Motul 300v last time, a 4L bottle and a 1L bottle. I have about 75% of the 1L bottle left in my garage for "topping up".

5L should be fine.

Depends on what sort of tank. A Challenger will need more than a Chieftan. Good luck putting it up on the ramps.

It also depends on how much you end up spilling... :D
