solenoid connection on AVC-r

over the weekend I fitted/installed my avc-r.
wired in no problems (soldered and junctioned)
fitted the pressure sensor and wired in that.
(i fitted the pressure sensor on the nearside away from heat and made connection to the manifold where my boost gauge went, I also used the little air filter- dont know if I should have or not).

now all I have left is to connect the solenoid.

can I simply place the apexi solenoid where my existing solenoid is and use the oe connections?
or do I have to do something else?
thanks

Andy

It can be fitted usingthe OE connections if your original is a 3 port, if your original is a 2 port then no. If you remove the OE solenoid altogether/or unplug it you will get a Check engine light... This can be sorted with a Suitable resistor...

The pipe that goes to the inlet from the 3 port is not used on the apexi solenoid.
