Spark plugs/ spark blowing out
Hi,
After a dissapointing RR after fitment and mapping of gems ecu it was suggested that the spark was blowing out at 6000 rpm like an ignition cut. Have now replaced PFR7b with R7436-8 iridium which according to ngk is the replacement for R7235-8 which is no longer available. Problem seems better but it was suggested that I check electrical earth points, which ones should i check? Cheers George |

I have an aftermarket earthing kit on mine. You are welcome to come round and look at the additional earthing points on Saturday (at Trax sunday) It cost about £35.00 from a Guy on the P1 OC site, and I have his email address at home. From memory there is originally only one real earth to the whole engine, under the intercooler, where the engine bolts to the battery. It runs from there to the battery terminal and then to a chassis earth behind the OS headlight. Any additional chassis to engine earth would be a start. |
Cheers, will have a look. Do you think there is a specific coil earth I should be checking?
