HL2 Pre-Load Started this morning

The preload of HL2 started sometime this morning...unfortunatly the servers are so busy that you can't get on them...

This might mean HL2 is going to be released sometime soon...like this year...maybe...but not going to hold my breathe.

"Game" say it will be available on 3 Sept.

They are taking pre orders. You can also pre order it from Amazon

If you pre-load it the day it becomes available you can get a key off steam and away you'll go...although I must admit that I have a pre-order in with gameplay at the moment.

I bet you have your hard copy several days before you complete the download ;)

And how long will it be before some Russian teenager cracks the key? That'll probably have happened beore you get your hard copy! =)

You need to install steam. When you have it appears in the play games list as pre-loadable.

HL2 will not be activated until the release date. The publisher & retail would be in uproar over value releasing HL2 early.
