1,65 bar peaks
 

I just changed the turbo back exhaust (cusco DP + Buddy Club line) on my MY03 STi and I have begun to see till 1,65 bar peaks on the Defi gauge when pushing hard on the highest gears (5th and 6th)...

I have the intention to map the car but I still dont know where or when (hope to be soon). Considering that I alwais try to avoid this peaks, how dangerous do you think this behaviour is?

Is yours completely standard?

Do you hit boost cut or anything?

On the admision-engine-exhaust it only have an STi air filter panel apart from the downpipe, exhaust and genome gauges,...

Lets see what the masters think :D

Edited: sorry, no boost cut at the moment. The only cut happened before the turboback/air filter mod, when hillclimbing at 4.000/5.000 rpms due to the low fuel (I think)...

Out of interest what size is the downpipe? 3"?

To be honest I´m not sure... They are both japanesse spec, i.e. the DP is a little bit shorter and the exhaust longer (or vice versa :D )

Anyway I´ll do the research.
