I`ve discovered a small oil leak which i`m having difficulty tracing, it seems to be coming from an area in front of the oil sump but not from the sump itself or from the filter housing,it accumulates around this area then drips onto the exhaust, any ideas where i might start looking?

Get your dealer to check the crank oil seal.

Thanks, I had kind of suspected this myself, I removed one of the timing belt covers to see if I could see any oil which might have been thrown up onto the timing belt and that seemed fairly clean,but I think your probably going to be right. Is the crank shaft oil seal external?

I'm not certain exactly whats involved, but it's fairly easy (relative). I believe all the covers, etc' come off, and it's accessable.
