WRX (95) Cutting out and hesitating!
 

Iv just bought a Impreza wrx (95)

Im new to the Impreza thing as its the first one i have ever had!
It is a Jap version and i havent yet had it SVA'd as its just arrived today, when i drive it and hit boost it goes fine but as i near past 5,000rpm the car starts to cut out and struggle to carry on, its like the turbo just switchs off and it just stays there and jerks about!

What could be the problem, any ideas!

Also does anyone know of anyone who has a good aircon compressor available, any decent second hand parts specialists for subarus out there!

sounds like the fuel in it is not up to the job.. should be 100RON and uk fuel is 95RON for normal unleaded or 97RON for super unleaded or 98RON for Optimax.

You really need to run it on 98RON + Booster.. NF for example..
